With just a little margins between succeed and failure in MotoGP, the essential of every detail can make big differences to each bike and rider.
“The aerodynamics in every road racing bike is very important because when you go over 200 km/h it makes the difference,” explained Simoncelli, whose height resulted in some modifications to his San Carlo Honda Gresini bike this season.
“It’s not a big modification but each modification can give me more or less 3 or 4 km/h more in the straight,” added the Italian, who goes through the specific changes that were made in the attached video.

Dani Pedrosa Visit Indonesian Honda Racing School
Dani Pedrosa rider Repsol Team Honda spent two days in Indonesia after Sunday’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. Dani visiting the Sentul race circuit as a guest instructor at the Honda Racing School. Dani Pedrosa passed on precious riding advice to 16 Indonesian students between age of 11 and 15. Dani take a demonstration laps on a 110cc Honda Blade, one of the machines used by the school at which the former Honda 125cc GP winner, Noburo Ueda is the chief instructor.
“It was really good fun to ride the 110cc Blade!” Pedrosa said. “Of course it has very little horsepower compared to my RC212V, but I think it’s very good for the kids to start understanding how to ride a bike, to be familiar with the gears and the necessary riding style.”
More than 1,000 fans watched Pedrosa in his MotoGP racing leathers doing laps at the Sentul Karting circuit. After the demonstration Pedrosa offered some advice to the aspiring riders based on his experience when beginning racing when he was young. He said:

Davioso Prepared For Laguna Seca
Andrea Davizioso is willing to score a notable result at Laguna Seca this week. Davizioso has been on the podium four times this season even though not in the previous three races. It’s something that he wants to get it rights at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Laguna Seca because it’s a unique track, and also because I want to improve on my result from the last race in Germany,” said the 24 year-old, who was fifth at Sachsenring. “We are completely focused on getting a strong finish this weekend before we head into the MotoGP summer break.”
In Laguna Davizioso finish fourth at his debut premier class campaign and was running in the similar position last year before he went crash.

Randy de Puniet Replace For Seca and Roger Lee Hayden In
The Frenchman had a successful operation last night on his left leg, and expects to be back for Brno. LCR Honda have claimed the American rider will stand in at this weekend’s Red Bull US Grand Prix.
Randy de Puniet undergo a successful two-hour operation on his left leg last night to insert a titanium rod, subsequent fractures to his left tibia and fibula continuous in a crash in Sunday’s race at Sachsenring.
The surgery, performed by Doctor Claudio Costa from the Clinica Mobile along together with Doctor Ulf Schendel and his medical team, was holded at hospital in Hartmannsdorf where De Puniet was streamed by helicopter from the circuit. LCR Honda have declared the operation as a positive one, and De Puniet would leave the hospital tomorrow (Tuesday, July 20th) to begin his rehabilitation with the aid of the Clinica Mobile.
